So I took a chance on a discontinued item, and boy was I pleased! These have a more traditional fit with a flare in the legs and all my favorite carpenter pockets.
Some feedback for the future: I’d like to see triple stitching on the inseams like most other carpenter/painter pants feature.
I bought these to put in the knee pockets of my gardening pants. They were a little wider than the pockets, but I was able to trim them down to fit. The pads are like a dream! I'm able to comfortably kneel on concrete and crawl around with great comfort! I think these will hold up much better than the other foam options. I'm very happy with my purchase!
The first 2 pairs of pants I received the knee pads did not line up with my knees and you have to move then around to kneel on them. I just thought that's how they were. After leaving a review about it Thrive reached out and said they had some problems with some pants made incorrectly. I sent them some pictures of the pants and they said that they would replace. I also ordered 36 which were loose and the sent me 34s to replace. The new pants are great. I love the material and the kneepads are great. In a time where customer service lacks in almost everything Thrives customer service is awesome!! I will be telling everybody about my experience with them. VERY IMPRESSIVE!!
Bought these to slide into a whole bunch of other work pants I own, and they're excellent. They stay in place nicely, and provide great protection to the knee and upper shin, definitely helped my knee caps stay safe.
