Start ShoppingI am ordering another pair immediately. Finally a comfortable work pant.
Great shorts very comfortable I’ll be buying more
Years back I purchased the first gen cotton twill blend, I liked them a lot but the material just didn't hold up on the knees. I seen the whole design changed and decided to try out a new pair.
So far this new design is a durable product and have held up well the past 2 months they show no signs of fraying, I do property maintenance so I am using the kneepads pretty much all day troubleshooting systems/crawling in my work van digging for stuff.
Pros- comfortable, fit is good and the stretch is nice. Plenty of pockets. Good reinforcement.
Cons- material is a bit thicker and not as breathable. Due to the thickness required to make these rugged I think it also retains odor a bit more so I wash every 2 days. There is plenty of pockets but no large cargo style pockets obviously.
Not a con but a personal preference, if there was a streamlined cargo pocket design with 2 cargo pockets on each leg and no pen pockets/hammer hook, I would definitely buy a pair.
For the price you get a really great product.
The pants are nice and sturdy and the material is good and comfortable, the knee pad pockets are great. My only complaint is I sized up because my thighs and calves wouldn’t fit in my normal waist size (32), and after a wash the calf area is tighter than I would prefer. Also if you wear a western style work book the leg opening will not accommodate them. The leg opening doesn’t even really go around my 6” moc toe boots.
6’2” 185 bought a 34/34.
I stand 6’ 10” tall..the stretchy 36x36 fits me well.
I love the phone pocket.
Very comfortable.
I feel like I don’t want to get paint on them.
I may use them for doing estimates for awhile
Or wear them to church.
Thank you !!

Appreciate the feedback!
I have 2-pr of these 053 Dillon Pros and have been wearing them a fair amount for the last two months. This time I got the proper waist size. (I ordered a waist size 2" too small a few years ago). With the proper waist and length measurements, both SQIUISH pads now fit properly under my knees when kneeling.
I bought 6-pr of SQUISH type pants - 4 of denim, 2 of side pocket - a few years ago. The pads would fit to one side edge under my left knee. I always had to adjust before kneeling. The crotch area gave out in the same area of each denim pair. And the seam going from crotch-to-belt area on the backside of both side pocket pants wore out and split. To their defense, probably a lot if not all of the cause was due to ordering too small of waist size.
I think the 053's here should hold up better since they're much baggier than the previous pairs. I should also note, I like the knee padding. They give enough cushion, and I don't have to carry around a knee pad which frees up my hands.
