We added the convenience of being able to remove your SQUISH® knee pads and share them across multiple pairs of 053 DILLON-PRO pants to save some cash. Or, if you prefer to load them in and forget about them, purchase a set of pads for each and every pair of pants in your line-up. The freedom to choose is now yours. Our NEW 053 DILLON-PRO knee pad work pants are the perfect solution for carpenters, drywall installers, roofers, concrete/asphalt workers just to name a few. Our new technical performance fabric combines precision in performance, comfort, durability, styling and functionality. This workhorse is styled around the traditional utility work pant with multi-purpose pockets, tape measure clip and hammer loop. ActionFlex® DX technical performance fabric is our micro rip-stop twill weave to give you just the right amount of flex and breathability. The 053 DILLON-PRO now gives you the choice to load-in knee pad protection or not. Removable SQUISH® knee pads can be inserted on the ready into easy-access top-loading knee pockets. Prefer full-time knee protection? No problem, just leave the pads in and forget about them- even in the laundry. This new style is a direct upgrade of our legacy 5300 Tradesman style. The pockets and and layout are EXACTLY the same.

My brother was looking for pants with knee pads to wear to work, I stumbled on Thrive and ordered a couple of pair of pants. I'm so glad I found these, he wears only Thrive pants to work now. Best work pants probably ever

Dude, these pants are my new favorite work pants. The knee pad inserts aren’t bulky making you look stupid, they’re very concealed yet effective, i am in love with these pants. Good pockets and very stretchy. Love them, can’t praise them enough. They did good with these for sure.

Second Pair

Really exceptional work pants! The knee pads are life changing! The top loading of the knee pads is genius. Placement and design of pockets is perfect. I tuck the flaps of the large pockets in to the pockets and there’s even Velcro inside to keep them tucked.

Knee pad pocket position

I am an automotive technician so I am up and down on my knees all day. I don’t need supper heavy pants so these pants are light weight, comfortable and stretchy compared to carhartt. Unless you are looking for a heavy durable pant. The Duluth trading are to big in the legs. The knee pads in all 3 pairs that I have tried don’t fit quite right when I bend down to kneel, the pad isn’t centered on my knee. The squish pads could be bigger so they fit the pocket better, also the pad is thicker in the middle so if you don’t kneel in the center you roll off the pad. I found some bigger pads on Amazon that fit tight in the pocket but still off centered. There looks like some stitching inside the pocket that could be removed to accommodate bigger pads. I’ve worn a neoprene basketball knee pad under my pants for years problem is they are tight on your leg by the end of the day and they do fall down after they get stretched out. So the pad in the pants are really comfortable.

These are still the best Painter Whites on the market. I think I've owned every version of them and they somehow continue to improve. Comfortable, durable and functional.

Also, buy them online from thriveworkwear.com. The ones that are sold at SW are great, but not as great as the pants I've bought directly from the web store.

If you have had knee surgery, you are well aware of your kneeling limitations. Nothing will replace the functioning of your natural knees, but these squish pad pants will sure help get you close. These knee pad pants will help you get back to work.

Great Work pants

I have been a trim carpenter/ cabinet man for 40 years. I have always worn overalls. I decided recently to swap to a more professional look. I bought these as a trail run. I have been more than happy with them. I love that the material I rip stop and breathable. I love the knee pad pockets. They are very clean looking and look very professional!
