Measure around the waist where you normally wear your shorts.

Measure around the fullest part of your seat.

Measure around the thigh, 3" down from the crotch seam.

Measure around the bottom opening of the short leg.
INSEAM
The inseam is measured from the crotch seam down to the bottom hem of the shorts. Thrive work shorts have a 10.5" inseam measurement.

If you are between waist sizes, we recommend sizing up for more room through the waist and thighs.

These work shorts balance Style, Durability and Utility at a decent sale price. Time will tell how well they hold up after a year ir two but I love all of the pockets and the water shedding capability.
I wear these shorts everyday and I like the comfort and the feel of the material. I am right handed and the side pocket on the right side of the shorts is split into two compartments which makes them too small for a cell phone. The pocket on the left side is large enough for a cell phone. So I just switch sides for the cell phone. Not a big deal. Also there was a loop just above that pocket on the left that I would try to slip the phone into before the pocket. I fixed that by cutting the loop off so my phone slides into that pocket. I have a smaller cell phone and that left side holds it just right. My other thrive trousers are made out of a different material that matches better with my cell phone and not worrying about the phone sliding out of the pocket. I taped a piece of cloth on to the back of my cell phone hard case so there is less movement in the side pocket. Overall, very nice product, I have used my other thrive trousers while traveling in Europe and Africa. I just like your designs . Thank you.

"20+ year landscaper gardener. I've worn all the big brands that are typically too thick, too baggy and often not true to size. ( looking at you CH), and color fades fast. These are true to size, I'm 6'4" 200lb 34 inch waist is perfect, little stretch in waist is great, material just the right thickness, not too thick or hot, not flimsy. I think the color, navy, will hold for awhile. Well done! May just be my favorite all time. I like them so much I bought some pants too which fit perfect, 32/34 length. Have recommended to friends and will continue to do so"
"I like these so much I felt compelled to comment. 25 year professional gardener. I've worn all the big brands of carpenter shorts that typically loose color fast, are too baggy and really too thick for gardening or landscaping. Not these! I'm 6'4" 200lb and the 34w fit perfect with just a little stretch in the waist band which is nice. The fit is slim, not baggy and the material is perfect. Not too hot like most canvas shorts and not flimsy like most rip stop that cause my hand tools to fall out of the side pockets when I kneel down. Couple hidden pockets are nice too. Repels dirt better then canvas and looks professional for meetings or having a beer after work. Very nicely done fellas! I will be buying additional colors for sure."
Great pants seem very durable
They feel comfortable and fit well. I’ll know more in a few months after wearing. Because of the cost I do not want to get them dirty. Lol
Really enjoying these so far. Definitely protect my knees while kneeling on concrete, and they seem like they'll last quite a while.

Comfortable, light weight, pockets are in the correct place. Easy to launder and hold there color.
Finally a pair of painters pants that are actually cut for a woman and you're not showing crack every time you've been down to do baseboard very comfortable very flexible finally size 2 I couldn't be more happy no more Dickies for this girl
